Our Story

 

SilverEdge was founded as ” PFC Payment Solutions” in 2004, setting up shop in Greeley Colorado. Back then small businesses were being crushed by costs and fees with their payment processing. Our founders knew they could step in and eliminate the middle man markup by offering direct processing, saving clients a ton of money.

As the company grew they built their own office building in Loveland, CO in 2008. In 2010 they became simply “Payment Solutions”.

With the birth of new technology, the industry evolved immensely and “Payment Solutions” knew they wanted to be ahead of the curve. They started partnering with a variety point of sale solution companies in 2012 to provide their clients with the top of line technology in every niche. This new venture needed a new name so “Payment Solutions” re-branded to “SilverEdge” in 2013.

Today, SilverEdge is passionate about helping small to medium sized businesses find the perfect point of sale solution for their unique business. They offer unbeatable customer support and are relentless in improving their products and offerings.


 

Meet Our Executive Team

Ken Salazar

President and CEO

Ken is the CEO and founder of SilverEdge. Ken and his wife, Amy, founded the company in 2004 on the principals of helping small to medium sized businesses grow and succeed in the ever changing market. Ken has led his startup since its creation and has been a critical driver in leading the business to become a top provider of cutting edge business solutions to businesses all across the nation.

Dennis Porter

VP of Operations

Dennis brings extensive payment industry experience to the role as Vice President of Operations at SilverEdge. Dennis facilitates and guides the creation, execution and measurement of operational plans designed to power SilverEdge’s successful future. He works closely with all SilverEdge departments to provide an exceptional customer experience, with sales and support of new and enhanced products and services.

Becky Ross

VP of Marketing

Becky is a dynamic marketing leader with a career focused in marketing both B2B and B2C companies. Operating with small teams and small budgets forces her to push the boundaries of creativity and productivity every day. She is passionate about helping small and medium businesses grow their bottom line through constantly iterating, measuring and raising the bar.

Mike Riksheim

VP of Sales

Mike is a Sales Executive with 14 years of Sales & Marketing experience. He has spent over 5 years as a management consultant for small to Fortune 200 B2B organizations spanning over 35 countries, bringing broad perspective and emerging best practices in the Sales and Marketing arena.  Mike’s main focus for success is the development and enablement of his Sales team and structure.


 

Philanthropy

Being one of our Core Convictions, “Give back to the community through service and
economic support.” We are truly dedicated to supporting and participating in the communities we live and work in.

Volunteer Time
SilverEdge provides each of it’s team members with 4 complimentary hours a quarter
to take off from work and volunteer in the community.

Monetary Support
SilverEdge has created a program called United We Give. The program enables SilverEdge’s clients to donate a portion of the credit card transactions fees they pay to
United Way at no cost to them. For every credit card transaction placed through one
of SilverEdge’s clients a portion of the proceeds goes directly to United Way.
